Organised jointly by the University of the Arts London (Material and the Arts Research Centre - MATAR) and the Printing and Graphics Science Group of the Institute of Physics, in association with the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T).
The event is aimed at an international audience of photographers, conservators, preservation personnel, conservation scientists and those working in the digital printing, ink and paper industries.
Research areas explored in this conference will include current developments and future trends in digital printing and photographic technologies; developments in substrates and inks, including textiles, plastics, papers for both fine art printings and digital photography; and standards for fastness, permanence and the role of scanning and file formats.
